Aerators and Surface Mixers
The Aerator Solutions Blue Frog® Technology is an innovative, affordable, sustainable solution designed to meet wastewater treatment lagoon discharge standards. It prolongs the life of the lagoon by restoring it back to its original design capacity. The Blue Frog® is a hybrid aerator that functions as both a mixer and passive aerator that moves water laterally through the water column, creating an entirely unique treatment process.

Performing a wide array of functions, Weirs, Baffles, Launders, and Covers are integral parts of a wastewater treatment plant. Whether to mitigate density currents, reduce scum carryover, separate zones in biological tanks, increase residence time for disinfection, reduce flow turbulence, etc., composite baffles are simple pieces of equipment that play an important role in the wastewater treatment process.

Flow Monitoring/Metering (Flumes)
Trapezoidal Flumes, Parshall Flumes, H-Flumes, and Palmer Bowlus Flumes all have a unique place in the wastewater industry and are used in monitoring sewage, plant effluent, storm water and irrigation water. Flumes are available with numerous accessories and adaptations to match your flow and installation requirements. Made of fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) they offer optimum corrosion resistance.

Membrane Bioreactors
Membrane bioreactors (MBR) are used in wastewater treatment systems to improve footprint, effluent quality and sludge thickening. They are also ideal for handling high or variable organic loading to a plant, such as in industrial wastewater treatment applications.
These systems can be delivered as a site build, packaged plant or containerized plant. In a site assembly, biological and membrane system equipment are supplied loose shipped to be installed into concrete basins.

Odor Control
Many components are required as part of a system to effectively mitigate odors at a wastewater treatment facility. AFT carries a variety of solutions including scrubbers, carbon adsorbers, and biofilters, as well as composite and aluminum tank and launder covers.

Rotating Biological Contactors
RBCs offer biological treatment for wastewater treatment plants in modular configuration with unique managed flow technology. These modules are offered as factory built units in GRP tanks with covers or can be installed in concrete tanks built on site and are available in diameters up to 15 ft.
All these single piece plants and modular RBC systems can be configured for BOD removal, nitrification, and de-nitrification.
